Dr. Ron Lin, also known as Dr. Bee, graduated from Simon Fraser University with a degree in Entomology/Apiculture.

In 1989, Mr. Ron Lin, along with Ms. Joanna He, came to Canada to pursue advanced studies in the University of Guelph, Ms. Lin with a background in accounting and Mr. Lin, a background in bee science. In two years time, Mr.Lin obtained his master's degree and further pursued his PhD. degree in Simon Fraser University. His experience in study and in the field of Entomology makes him an expert when it comes to the life of a Honey Bee!

Honeyland Canada was established in 1994, where Mr. Ron Lin and his wife farm acres of Organic Berries and other Organic Produce, while tending to over 1000 Bee Hives.

Honeyland Canada breeds different strains of bees for their resistance to disease, supplying strong and healthy bees to a dozen major fruit growers in Richmond, Abbotsford, Langley and Delta.

At the same time, the 1,200 honeybee hives at Honeyland produce tons of natural hive products each year, including Honey in different varieties (blueberry, raspberry, wildflower, fireweed and more), Bee Pollen, Royal Jelly, Propolis, Bee Wax, Bee-Strong, Ginseng in Creamy Honey and many more.

Dr. Bee also has a passion for teaching and spreading the knowledge about the incredible world of honeybees to the world out there. Honeyland Canada is providing beekeeping courses, beeswax candle making classes, presentations and bee tours to those who are interested in finding out more!
